At last, spring is here…warmer temps, baseball, more outdoor fire training (every day is a training day, right?) and of course, the latest news from the Emergency Reporting team. It’s been a busy couple of months since our last update, so let’s jump right in!
Making Property and Content Loss Required for 100 Series Incidents
Many of you have asked for the ability to make Property/Content Loss required for fire calls. Our team was listening and recently added a new feature: Simply navigate to Administration > Incident Settings > Required Fields and Customizations and check the box shown below. All 100 series incidents will now require the Property/Content Loss fields to be filled out on Basic 5 before the incident report can be completed.
Being a Good Neighbor
An enhancement made to the printable view of an incident report now displays the Neighboring Agencies entered on Basic 5:
Granular Permissions for Reports
Our development team has taken advantage of the Roles and Permissions security settings by adding granular permissions for the subsections of the Reports Module. System administrators can now grant access to just reports needed by specific users. For example, you can give your community risk reduction team access to just the Occupancy, VISION, and Events Modules reports. This is just the beginning of what can be done with granular permissions. Check out Support Tech Katie’s excellent knowledge base article for details.
