2020 is flying by…February is almost over and March madness is just around the corner. Our development team continues to perform ongoing improvements to the system. While there are plenty of behind-the-scenes enhancements happening every two weeks, here’s some new features that have been added to the system since we last met.
Have you explored BI Basic?
We’ve completed the rollout of BI Basic to all our commercial customers (DoD/Federal customers: BI is coming to Ultra this summer). Have you had a chance to explore this powerful data visualization tool? No? Well, what are you waiting for? This new addition to ER will forever change the way you use your data! Here are some links to get you going:
Report Updates – Scheduled Date Column Added to Two Reports
Report #789 – Pending WO’s for Equipment Category for Subcategory for Maintenance Type for Date Range
Report #793 – Pending WO’s for Apparatus for Maintenance Type for Maintenance Request Date Range
Both of these reports now have a “Scheduled Date” column so you can better track not only the maintenance was requested but when you expect the work to be performed.
New Report – 1788: Incident Detail for Incident Type and Pay Grade for Personnel for Date Range
This new report is pretty sharp for determining total hours spent at incidents per pay grade. It has multi-pickers for both personnel and pay grade.
Premier Partner – Spotted Dog Rover App
Join us for a live demonstration of our integrated partner app – Spotted Dog Rover. Rover works seamlessly with Emergency Reporting. It includes these great features:
- Pinpoints each responder with GPS and on-map tracking
- Calculates ETA of all responders in real time
- Integrates with navigation for turn-by-turn directions
- Stores and displays hydrants, hazards & preplans
- Fully customizable to fit your department’s needs
This informative webinar is being offered this week – February 25th, 26th, and 27th. Click here to register for one of these webinars.
Learning Plans Now Available
Mastering ER is easier than ever…we’re happy to announce 32 brand new learning plans that compile our knowledge base articles into a logical, structured format that also enables you to track your progress toward completion. Check them out here and be sure to add them to your ER Library module right away for quick access anytime from your ER account.
Take Your ER Knowledge to the Next Level
Take your knowledge of ER to new heights by attending one of our Regional Training Academies being held across the country in 2020. Our next RTAs will be in Jacksonville, FL – March 17-19 and Kansas City, MO (Way to go Chiefs!) – April 7-9. Hope to see you in person at one of these excellent events.
Twenty for 2020
Be sure to join us for our Twenty for 2020 webinar series – we’ve got some really good ones planned through April that focus on NFPA standards.
That’s a wrap for February. As always, stay safe out there and thank you for being part of the Emergency Reporting Family.
