Hello everyone! I hope this blog finds you and your department well. With 2019 well underway, our team continues to make ER even better. In addition to dozens of fine-tuning adjustments under the hood, below are some highlights to keep you up-to-date and getting the most out of ER.
New Feature Request Platform
We’ve moved “Feature Request” to the same platform we use for our knowledge base articles and support tickets. Product Associate Luke Goldstein wrote an excellent blog post describing how it all works. Be sure to keep letting us know the features you’d like to see in the system and vote for your favorites…unlike before, there’s no limit to the features you can vote for.
Just the Fax Ma’am
Now you can send your ePCRs directly to the receiving facility without having to print them. Our new eFax feature is up and running and ready to make your life easier when transferring patient care. Here’s some super helpful links to get you going on using this account upgrade feature:

New LOSAP Report
Report #1765 Summary Only – LOSAP Points by Fixed Incident Percentage Response – Work Schedule not Applicable is a custom report requested by the Hampstead Volunteer Fire Engine and Hose Company #1 for reporting Length of Service points to the State of Maryland. Even though this is a custom report, be sure to run it for your organization to see if it will help you too.
Improving Your NFIRS Documentation
With thanks to Lt. Michael Moore of Orange County Fire & Rescue (FL), our NFIRS Incident Type pick list has been refined to match the order listed in the NFIRS Complete Reference Guide. The “x00” and “x00” incident types are now at the bottom of each category listing. Check out this NFIRSGram that explains the importance of using the right NFIRS incident type codes.
