We’re thrilled to unveil our newly revamped Events Module, which will be live in all ER accounts on July 11, 2019. We’d like to thank everyone who participated in our beta testing and offered feedback. The new Events Module features several improvements to the previous version, including a new list view that makes it easier for users to view, minimize navigation, and improve readability. It makes work easier to understand and allows users to create and edit on a single page instead of three pages.
Keep reading for a close-up look at the new features of the Events Module (as well as Messages), complete with screenshots and descriptions.
New Improved Interface:
New empty state icons will improve workflow by showing when there are no events scheduled.
Another great new feature that users have been asking for allows the tracking of non-personnel attendees. This is an important new feature that allows the users to track attendance at public education or any other events. This information is important for statistics that assist with how the user’s organization is impacting the community as well as data that can be used for grant applications.
There is better organization of the event list by using upcoming and past tabs in the header.
There are seven fields under the new Additional Details Accordion section that will give users the ability to record additional details required by today’s fire service.
- Number of batteries installed
- Number of car seats
- Number of carbon monoxide detectors installed/given
- Number of Fire Extinguisher training
- Number of smoke alarms installed/given
- Number of Tour: Engine
- Number of Tour: Station
There’s a new end date feature that is used to calculate the duration of an event along with the ability to schedule multi-day events.
Add-to-calendar is updated to show the name of the event.
There is a new “confirm delete” window, which serves as an extra warning for users before deleting a record.
Along with the new Events Module, the Granular Roles and Permissions were updated to allow for:
- No access
- Read Only
- Create and Edit
- Access to Setting
We’ve added two new reports:
1773 – Additional Event Details per Event Type for Date Range
1774 – Non-Personnel Attendance per Event Type for Date Range
