The fundamental purpose of a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) is to allow its members to join together to leverage purchasing strength in order to acquire goods and services at lower prices. FireRescue-GPO is not a reseller, but rather a contract negotiator. GPO members are entitled to purchase through Vendor Agreements at the price and other terms so specified. FireRescue-GPO offers GPO members networking, benchmarking, consulting, and educational programs that eliminate administrative duplication, and increase operating efficiency.
